“I’d buy the washer that stacks with this does the dryer plug into the washer or they both have to be plugged into outlet ?”

• Hi Jessaw18. Like all other major appliances, the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.4 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle Electric Dryer with FlowSense™, Model # DLE3400W or its matching washer has to be plugged into its own individual outlet (i.e. a dedicated outlet) They dryer doesnot plug into the washer. Electric dryers have to be plugged into a 240V outlet while washers have to be plugged into a 120V outlet. Gas dryers plug into a 120 V outlet as well...^IFV

• They are separate units requiring separate plugs. I do love the new dryer, so I'd go for it if I were you.
