• You will need to check your local building codes and ordinances or consult with your local building inspector if you are not sure which power cord to use with the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle Electric Dryer with FlowSense™ - White, Model # DLE3400W. The wiring and grounding must conform to the latest edition of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70 and all applicable local regulations. A 4-wire connection is required for all mobile and manufactured home installations, as well as all new construction after January 1, 1996. A 4-wire connection must be used where local codes do not permit grounding through the neutral wire. A 3-wire connection is NOT permitted on new construction after January 1, 1996 or in area where grounding through the neutral conductor is prohibited...^IFV
