Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this is possible. Check to make sure that the outside flaps on your dryer vent are working properly, closing completely when dryer is not on. Oftentimes lint buildup will get in the way. Clean it well or replace if needed. We also had our outside vent fall off over the winter so the open hole of the dryer venting was 100% exposed to the outside. The dryer had a hard time heating up because of this. Be sure this piece is properly secured to the dryer vent ductwork.
