- Answer There is a lint filter that you can pull out and clean every time after you use, but there is no light inside the dryer which my previous dryer had.

QuestionCan't see the control panel very well, especially the lettering. Are the actual words (Dry Level, Temp., Turbo Steam, More Time, etc.) supposed to light up or is there a way to light them up? The dark on dark makes it extremely difficult to read.

- Answer The letters on my dryer don't light up either. I assume there isn't a way for them to light? I agree, it is very difficult to read. Using a flashlight makes it easier, but.............

- Answer We asked this question as well. The unit is stackable but you do need to purchase the required stacking pieces separately. We are using the washer and dryer side-by-side now but are pleased we can convert them to stackable if needed.

- Answer It's just the machine, check dimensions required for how much space is needed behind or next to the dryer. My guess is at least about 5-6 inches in the back.

QuestionWhy would an LG dryer would not dry clothes because the house is close to the sea in S.CA the technician stated that the duct is too short ? Why does it not say anything about this in the manual ? Thank you

Questionwhat is the exact location of the vent hole on the back of the dryer. I would like the exact measurement from both sides and to the centerline and the measurement from the top down to the centerline? this info isn't in the installation manual

- Answer From the top to the vent measurement is 34.375". From the vent hole to the right side of the unit measures 14.25". ^Daphane

QuestionCan I stack this on a samsung washer? even with {easy) modifications? only dryer needs to be replaced and LGs have much better ratings.

- Answer As long as the Samsung washer and the LG *washer* (the one that coordinates with the dryer you’d like to buy) have the same dimensions on top from side to side in the back & near the front, it will work fine. (Depth won’t matter as the stacking kit lip only goes over the back side and screws into the back of the washer. The rest of the rails (besides the back lip) sit flat on top so it can be deeper or even ‘slightly’ shorter as the rails do not come all the way to the front of the washer. Be sure to buy the *LG* stacking kit meant for your dryer (not a Samsung one) so the feet of your dryer sit properly in the grooves where they are meant to be secured. The stacking kit has adhesive to hold it to the washer plus screws. (They come with the stacking kit). You will likely have to drill your own holes in the back of the washer because they probably won’t align with the Samsung holes, but just use a sheet metal drill bit a little smaller than the screws so they grasp securely.

- Answer There aren't any specified size loads that the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Electric Dryer, Model # DLE3500W will accommodate. However, since dryers have approximately twice the capacity that their matching washing machines have, the matching washing machine for the dryer will have a capacity of 4.5 cubic feet which is can accommodate about 18 lbs to 20 lbs of laundry. Keep in mind that your laundry needs to have enough room to tumble freely so it does not get tangled and come out wrinkled. A "Y" connector and a long and short hose are included accessories with the washer...^IFV

QuestionThe power cord included : No. What does that mean? What is the point to buy a washer without the power cord. Why would I have to buy a separate cord for extra? Why cant they have the power cord included and add it in the dryer price?

- Answer I would assume it depends on the hookup in your house. They make different receptacles so it doesnt pay to have one attached already to the unit if it doesnt fit.

- Answer Less compared to Kenmore we had before. Most of the noise is from the clothes rolling on inside the drum . It does makes some bearable level of noise, when we close our laundry room door it gets much lower.

Ultra Large Capacity Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry, and Wi-Fi connectivity in White, Model # DLE3500W is shipped from the factory configured to vent to the rear. It can be configured to vent to the right side, left side or to the bottom. You will need to purchase an Adapter Kit, Part # 383EEL9001B that contains the necessary duct components to change the duct vent location. ^CP

- Answer The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Electric Dryer, Model # DLE3500W has a height of 38 11/16" and the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Washer, Model # WM3500CW has a height of 39" so when stacked the combined height will be 77 11/16". The width doesn't change since both units have a width of 27". The Washer has a depth of 30 1/4" and the dryer has a depth of 31 3/8". Since the dryer has a deeper depth than the washer, the recommended installation clearance spacing for behind the dryer of 5" is what you will need to follow to ensure that you have enough room for the ducting for the dryer. Ducting is not supplied with the dryer. Closets with doors must have both an upper and lower vent to prevent heat and moisture buildup in the closet. One upper vent opening with a minimum opening of 48 sq. in. (310 cm2) must be installed no lower than 6 feet above the floor. One lower vent opening with a minimum opening of 24 sq. in. (155 cm2) must be installed no more than one foot above the floor. Install vent grills in the door or cut down the door at the top and bottom to form openings. Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are also acceptable...^IFV
