The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled Electric Dryer, Model # DLE3500W has a height of 38 11/16" and the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Smart wi-fi Enabled Front Load Washer, Model # WM3500CW has a height of 39" so when stacked the combined height will be 77 11/16". The width doesn't change since both units have a width of 27". The Washer has a depth of 30 1/4" and the dryer has a depth of 31 3/8". Since the dryer has a deeper depth than the washer, the recommended installation clearance spacing for behind the dryer of 5" is what you will need to follow to ensure that you have enough room for the ducting for the dryer. Ducting is not supplied with the dryer. Closets with doors must have both an upper and lower vent to prevent heat and moisture buildup in the closet. One upper vent opening with a minimum opening of 48 sq. in. (310 cm2) must be installed no lower than 6 feet above the floor. One lower vent opening with a minimum opening of 24 sq. in. (155 cm2) must be installed no more than one foot above the floor. Install vent grills in the door or cut down the door at the top and bottom to form openings. Louvered doors with equivalent ventilation openings are also acceptable...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will depend a lot on where your vent is on the wall. It is in the lower left corner of the back of the dryer. I have to route the vent tube up a couple of feet and that takes several inches to do without compressing the tube--a total of 3 feet 3 inches to the front of the machine. If your vent exhaust is near the left center of the closet you may be in luck. If you're really lucky, the vent will be on one side of your closet, that'd be easy to route to. The machines are only 27 inches wide. The washer will easily fit in a 3 foot deep space. They'll probably be six feet nine or ten inches high--you have to allow some room for the stacking bracket.
