Hi there. Thank you for sharing your question about the LG DLGX5501V dryer. We understand how important flexible installation is, especially when it comes to venting and space setup. While the washer and dryer can be stacked using the compatible stacking kit, unfortunately, reversing the stack (placing the dryer on the bottom) is not recommended or supported. The dryer is always designed to be placed on top due to weight distribution and safety concerns. You may access this link related to your concern and go to Page 18 for more information:https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-DLGX5501V.ASSEEUS. That said, the DLGX5501V does support vertical venting, side venting, and bottom venting using an optional side vent kit (Part #383EEL9001B). If your goal is to vent through the floor, a bottom vent conversion can be done, but we highly recommend having it performed by a licensed technician to ensure proper airflow and compliance with local codes. If you'd like help sourcing the correct kit or setting this up, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport and we’ll be happy to walk you through it. We appreciate your interest in making your setup work best for your space! —Avril
