original purchaser of the unit and effective only when used in the United States, excluding U.S. Territories. This TV also has three built-in tuners, an ATSC tuner, an NTSC tuner and a QAM tuner. Brazil adopted the Japanese ISDB-T standard for their Digital TV (DTV) in 2014 which is not compatible with the ATSC tuner in this TV. Even though some parts of Brazil used the older analog NTSC system and others used the PAL system, those older analog systems were supposed to have been fully phased out by 2016...^IFV
