“how does this tv do in bright rooms and dark rooms and the nits rating brightness does it have a 1000 nits or what”

I have watched with both bright lights and darkness and it shows well in both lighting. Especially in dark rooms.

It is a great tv. Don't know what a nit is. The only draw back is that there is no manual. So learning how it all works is an ongoing issue.
