• Yes there are buttons directly underneath the status light on the front of the TV.

• There is a power/menu button underneath the LG insignia. You can only turn the TV off/on and access some menu functions. A replacement remote is LG AN-MR20GA and can be ordered from Amazon. ^Daphane
