A:AnswerI currently have a Raspberry Pi connected to the HDMI port that does 1080 out, and have no issues or complaints. If a Pi can connect then a laptop with HDMI out should have no issues. From either LG screen share app on phone or PC should be able to cast via Wifi as well. I have no displayed powerpoint from my phone, but have display photos.
