Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no idea the answer to your 1st question. We literally turn on the tv. The only thing we watch on regular cable is channel 4 and 9. Everything else we just watch appletv, Netflix, Prime. I believe it does go to a smart home when powered on. All of your streaming stations are are on the bottom of the tv. Use your remote like a curser and move it to where you’d like. If you go to the bottom of the remote there is a home button, along with a Netflix button and a prime button. You can click those to toggle back and forth also. When done watching the smart part of the television it the tv button at the top of remote. It will take you back to the last channel you watched. And yes gaming is a mode you can put the tv in. We have never done this before. The kids have there tv and PlayStation I’m the kid cave in a different location in our house.
