It doesn't need a soundbar but I would get one if I were you., especially if you are going to be running air conditioning units. We are using a LG SK8Y soundbar although we were pushed a little into getting a new one, but our one is more than enough for this television. We can hear the television with our soundbar at 15 quite easily, our previous LG was only 3 years old and we had to crank it to 100 with no soundbar in order to hear it. In fact, I think after 1 day we decided that we needed a soundbar so I would get one if I were you.

The OLED77C3PUA likely has decent built-in speakers, you get the premium LG S95QR sound bar included, which provides significantly better audio quality, louder volume, more channels, and object-based surround sound compared to the TV's integrated speakers alone. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-OLED77C3PUA.AUS.
