you might be better served to have an outlet installed closer to the tv if possible. If not, i would suggest getting a power surge strip and plug the tv into that.

TV power cables almost always have safety ratings, specifications, and the wire gauge (thickness) stamped or printed directly onto the outer insulation (jacket) of the cable. These markings are required to identify the cable's capacity and ensure safe operation, so you can look at the power cable you currently have to determine if a longer power cable is safe to use with the TV. It is generally safe to use an extension cord with a TV because TVs are low-power devices, typically consuming around 100 watts, which is well within the capacity of standard cords. However, it should only be used as a temporary solution, and the cord must be in good condition, rated for the load, and never hidden behind walls. A surge protector is safer than a simple extension cord, as it protects against voltage spikes. You will need to ensure the cord is rated to handle the power draw, which for most TVs is 125% of its power consumption. This TV has a Power Consumption of 204 Watts...^Ivan.
