A:AnswerSorry to say, there is a mini-jack for headphones, and a optical digital audio output for your stereo. I got lucky -- my stereo was just young enough to have an optical input. I've not seen a converter for the optical-to-RCA possibility, but maybe you can scare one up.
A:AnswerAll I know is that Hubby and I mounted a tv above (almost inset actually) a regular wood burning fireplace. We used cement board to reduce the heat between tv and fire. We used that fireplace and the tv regularly and never had a problem.
