If you are measuring 1.5" from vertical then the TV is leaning too much. Review the (very poor) instruction diagram of how to install the stand pieces and possibly try again. The two stand pieces will create somewhat of an upside-down "V" shape when attached correctly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine has a light lean also. It’s not as much as yours but it’s definitely leaning.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My 77 inch also has a lean back of 1 inch when measure vertically from base to top. I tried to contact LG about it and they were unable to give me an answer. I sent them a picture of the profile of the set which included the edge of the horizontal tv stand on which it was sitting that then made the lean obvious. Instead of addressing the question at all, I was instead told to register my television and that if I was using the tv on a stand, to secure it to the wall in back of the unit. I also in the past 48 hours posted a question and a picture regarding this issue on this Best Buy forum asking the same and have yet to get a response as to whether the lean is normal. I should add that Geek Squad unboxed and put together this tv for me and it was not until the next day that my husband noticed the lean. I also researched on the internet if others have noticed this and there seem to be a handful that have this issue as well, but no one has addressed if this is normal or sound for the television unit. Additionally, the diagram for the television that is provided by LG in the specs manual on this website shows that when the tv is viewed at its profile it is not tilted nor was it tilted when I viewed a slightly smaller version in person at Best Buy. So the long and the short of it is you are not alone. And no one seems to be willing to give us a straight answer which to me is absurd given the price of this unit. Here is a photo of the profile of my tv.
