• It depends. It will allow you to mount it very close to the wall — less than an inch. It also seemed a little small and unsubstantial, but I would assume it is strong enough given that it is made for that TV. I used a different wall mount so I could angle it down slightly.

• The wall mount provided is very good for allowing the TV to be as close to your wall as possible. If you want a mount that allows you to maneuver up, down or side to side then you would be better off getting another kind of wall mount. Also this mount is very easy to level once the tv is on it. So yes it is worth using the wall mount the comes with it if you just want to put it on your wall.
