“Does the G3 have a 1.2 power board unlike the G2 that people have had trouble turning on with one power button push? Thank you”

I am not sure about the (1.2 power board) but the G3 turns on with one push of the power button on the remote every time. It does have where you can set it up to turn off the tv with one push which will put it in stand bye mode and have like a screen saver picture which you choose the picture you want or you push power button twice and it turns off tv totally. very nice option with very cool screen saves pictures to choose from. But just 1 push tv is on and ready.
