It will work poorly (if at all) if the connect box and the TV are on the SAME wall.....anywhere along the same wall. Assuming the room has 4 walls, you'll need to choose one of the other 3 walls.

Placing the connect box to the side along the same wall, about 15 feet away, should work as long as there are no obstructions between the TV and the connect box.
