Thank you for reaching us regarding LG Smart webOS TV. The LG 86UQ7590PUD needs an over-the-air (OTA) antenna to receive local channels. It has a built-in tuner to decode signals, but you'll need to buy an external antenna separately to access these channels for free, without any subscriptions. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-86UQ7590PUD.AUS. For additional assistance, please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport so we can help you further. ^Cris
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.LG has its own channel lineup that comes free with the tv. In my experiance, it has a fair share of current live tv on it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a better option. There several digital over the internet channels that you can watch for free if you have internet connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but you need to be near a major city or their broadcast tower. You just need a small antenna that picks up the digital signal. They make them that plug right into the ports on the LG, just choose which one you want to use. I have mine in the HDMI port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
