• No, this drive will not work to record VHS tapes. It does have TV Connectivity. TV Connectivity is a function that allows you to enjoy videos, pictures and music by connecting this product to a compatible A/V device (e.i. Digital TV, Digital Photo Frame or PC) that supports USB connectivity. ^Daphane
