Yes, this external DVD/CD drive works with all forms of Max OS. No problem. To eject, just drag the disk image to the trash. If you have a newer Mac, make sure you have an adapter for the USB plug. Newer laptops only have the USB-C ports, and this CD player has a USB 3.0 plug. You’ll need an adapter.

Yes. It works as far back as Mac OS Lion and as current as Ventura. It probably works with Sonoma but I haven't upgraded yet to try it out.
