If you burn the CD in "audio CD" format then it will play in any standard audio CD player, including any car CD player. I did and it works in mine, which is exactly what is expected. Check the instructions for your computer and operating system on how to burn an "audio CD" as that is driven by how your computer sends files to the drive. If you burn the CD as a data CD and not an "audio CD" then it depends on the specific capabilities of your car's CD player to handle other formats; you'd have to check you car's sound system manual. Best of luck.
