“Can I plug this into a USB Hub and still have my Surface 3 Laptop able to recognize it? I've tried a Roofull external drive through my USB Hub and wasn't able to get my Surface to recognize it.”

• I don't have a Surface, but mine is plugged into a USB hub and works just fine . I have a Dell laptop.

• There are 2 ways you can do this. Either plug the LG external drive into a power outlet so it can get an external power source and then use your USB hub to run the device OR directly plug in the LG external (not sure if your laptop has a regular USB A connection).
