• I use this model connected to a M1 iMac. For a newer Mac with USB-C or Thunderbolt connections only, this will still work. However, you will need a USB-A to C adapter. I tried the Superdrive, but Apple never updated it and it did not power on. So I am still using the LG dvd drive every day. I use a docking station in between rather than a small adapter, in order to connect my Dymo and backup drive, too.
