• This drive reads CD's and DVD's. So it plays music and movies. It can also read and display digital files save on a CD or DVD for viewing pictures and home videos too.

• I was able to upload and transfer images from a cd, so I would say it will probably work for you. I was using a mac. Using a pc would probably be even easier.
