“Bought this & tried it on my MacBook Pro (2020). Just blinks & clicks. Works when connected to old PC desktop. Packaging says compatible w/Mac OS X 10.7.5, so will it not work with mine? Tried many online solutions and nothing works. Doesn't register”

MacOS 11 (Big Sur) does not recognize this drive. LG customer support just told me this model has "no Mac compatibility," despite multiple instances of MacOS logo on the box. The tech said they have a Big Sur-compatible model, but I didn't bother finding out which one.

Mac OS X 10.7.5 was an update to OS X 10.7 released on September 19, 2012. Your 2020 MacBook Pro is not using Mac OS X 10.7.5. It will have a higher Mac Operating System that may not support the drive. Please check with Apple for assistance...^IFV
