Hi, you can Store and play files on disk with this portable LG external DVD writer. ^Vanessa

..my laptop still does not work even after the Squad set it up. I purchased this external DVD drive to do exactly that...install Word onto the laptop, but I still have not attempted since the laptop does not respond.
