can i connect this to a speaker and play cds null

The LG - 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive, Black Model SP80NB80 is an external optical drive, specifically an external DVD writer. It is designed to read and write DVDs and CDs and does not have built-in speakers or audio output capabilities. Since the SP80NB80 is not a speaker or audio device, you cannot directly connect it to speakers for audio output. If you need to play audio from DVDs or CDs, you will need to use a separate device, such as a computer, DVD player, or media player, that has audio output ports. These devices can be connected to speakers to play the audio from the discs. ~Rita
