• Thank you for your interest in the LG Portable DVD (SP80NB80) model. The LG SP80NB80 external DVD drive is compatible with Chromebooks, but there are limitations to its functionality. Chrome OS does not support optical disks for playing music or movies, and it does not come with the necessary codecs for this functionality.
