“Can this dvd drive play all region (like region 2) or will it only play region 1?”

• It will play different multi-region DVDs up to 4 times. After the 4th time, it will set to whatever region was last played and cannot be changed after that, and is typical of most DVD drives and is a policy affecting most brands of DVDs.

• There is nothing in the documentation or specifications for that shows that it has region coding, CSS or RPC-2 which stores the region code in the drive's firmware. Depending on what media player you have on the computer connected to the drive, you should be able to play DVDs from other regions. ^Daphane
