Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use stienburg for DAW and the patches. Effects mixing and all his patches. I have put together orchestra and heavy metal with out leaving the room . The interface and recorder is key. The R-24 track recorder.that will allow 2 dynamic and four passive Microphones. Also two jacks for two instruments .EQ, volume ,bouncing and consolidating tracks. Interface and more all actually. I use high speed sd for low latency when I use the r 24 portable. A person can literally go to The drum kit four a beat .viset the other musicians on the way home a dozen takes from each and hooked up at home on the daw I'm ready to mix a live. Add a patch or two. Effects and keep on the daw as many versions as made. Back up with high speed SD. I don't burn until the final mix is complete.I burn at the slowest speed best guality and would never rw/ over a completed project. Hey that's just me. NOTE every time you rw/ over something you lose quality. I would suggest a little research to make sure you have every thing you need to make the type of music you like and have stored copy's for mixing and don't burn until you are ready for the finale cut. I would answer your question no to mix down.
