Q: QuestionTrying to fit a Whirlpool WHAT081-HAW 8,000 BTU Wall Unit in a mobile home wall with a hole of 12.5" H, 19.25" W, and 3". Need larger hole; A/C's dimensions are 14.5" H, 24.2" W, 20.3" D. Will this sleeve be too large for A/C? Will unit drain from back?

• A:Answer The LG Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner 26" Wall Sleeve, Model # AXSVA1 or the LG Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner Wall Sleeve with Stamped Aluminum Grille, Model # AXSVA4 are the only sleeves that we have that are compatible with the LG 14,000 BTU 230v Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner, Model # LT1430CNR. The difference between the sleeves is that Model # AXSVA1 does not come with a grille so you will need to purchase the LG Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner Architectural Grille, Model # AXRGALA01 separately. ~Tanisha

The top and bottom window sash must open sufficiently to allow a clear vertical opening of 16" from the bottom of the upper sash to the window sill. All side louvers of the cabinet MUST remain exposed to the outside of the structure and unobstructed. This is a WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER and as such, a standard single-hung or double-hung window is required for proper installation. The LG 8,000 BTU DUAL Inverter Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW8022IVSMis a window air conditioner, and as such it requires a single-hung window or a double-hung window for proper installation. The side and top louvers cannot be covered or blocked and all side louvers of the cabinet must remain exposed to the outside of the structure, so you cannot use a wall sleeve with this unit. LG does only makes compatible wall sleeves for our LG Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners...^Ivan
