Like LG refrigerators manufactured after 2015 that have a built-in Water Filter Bypass, you can change the water filter in the Energy Star® Certified LG Counter-Depth MAX™ with Zero Clearance™ 3-Door French Door Refrigerator with Thin Door Design, Model # LF24Z6530S, without having to pull your refrigerator out to turn off your water supply line, but replacing the water filter causes a small amount of water (around 1 oz. or 25 cc) to drain. You can wrap a cloth around the front end of the water filter cover to collect any leaking water, and hold the water filter upright, once it is removed, to prevent any remaining water from spilling out of the water filter...^Ivan.
