How many door shelves will fit a gallon milk jug? null

I was always told to NEVER store milk in the door shelves as every time the door is opened, the temperature of that part of the unit would be higher, resulting in easier milk spoilage. Is there a way to store gallon milk appropriately in the back of the refrigerator. If not, seems like a huge design flaw.

If you space the door shelves far enough apart, you should be able to fit 4 gallons. Two per shelf.
