How to I program the remote to control an Emerson tv? null

Sadly for this DVD players remote you'll either need your TV's original remote or a universal remote. Simply because the remotes ability to control your TV is only applicable if you have an LG TV as well. This is simply because LG made it a bonus sorta feature. Or rather, they didn't make a DVD remote with a universal aspect for TV's. It is a feature on some DVD remotes, but it's not a very common one.

Regrettably, there is not a code to program an Emerson TV. While holding down TV POWER button, press the 1 which is the default code and then release the TV POWER button. ^Daphane
