This has been a bit challenging: finding a DVR for Antennae television shows. Perhaps because I'm not the sharpest fella in Nevada, and perhaps because it's not always clear what the machine advertised does exactly. The model you asked about touts being able to record television programs. However, once I got the box home it read "Audio CD Recording to USB." (Under the large yellow and white Best Buy ID sticker I removed.)
NOT what I wanted. And the store employee said it was exactly what I was looking for. (Have to note here that it's been hit-n-miss when choosing a store employee for advice. Some are excellent.)
Short answer: This is probably not the unit you're looking for unless you want to just play DVDs or transfer CDs to USB.
I'm taking this back to the store and hoping for a better helper.
