QuestionI've read that this phone uses the entire screen as the speaker. How well does it work? Is the sound clear and not distorted?

- Answer The main speaker is enclosed in the phone and faces outward through the glass, their is also another speaker on the side of the phone facing outward and is a lot louder.The speaker playing threw the glass is the weaker of the two speakers if you try out the G8 put your finger over it (bottom speaker/side) and the volume will play a lot lower.As for what i think it sounds good.Buy some wired headphones and you will be pleasantly surprised how good the headphone jack is.

QuestionI am interested in the LG thin Q unlocked 128 GB cellphone. It is less expensive to activate now. I currently have a contract with Verizon that is 'up' Nov 2019. If I buy now can it go onto verizon now? Do I keep same #?

- Answer I have the unlocked version activated with Fi, but it does not get network switching or WiFi calling. Since the G7 had full Fi support I imagine that the G8 could get it with a future update.

- Answer Just insert your sim and you're fine. If you bought unlocked then you're not under contract. You can switch phones whenever you want.
