“Why is buying the phone activated for Verizon $150 more than the unlocked price? Why should i buy it activated for Verizon vs. just getting it unlocked (other than the WiFi calling ability)?”

• I see no benefit other then you could insure it through verizon I typically don't buy insurance so I typically buy unlocked phones

• I bought the unlocked version of the phone. The only thing I needed to do was swap out my Verizon SIM card from my old phone to the new one and I was up and running. I also rely on WIFI calling. I have seen switched to T-Mobile. Again, it was just a matter of swapping out the SIM card. I find T-Mobile's WIFI calling more stable.
