The gorilla glass 6 is really strong ive actually dropped mine on concrete several times with no issues so screen protectors should do it I find a almost never take my device out of the dual screen case however if you do there are plenty of case options for the singular device

Please try again later.this is going to sound confusing, but i think the dual screen IS THE CASE. so i bought a thin silicon case just for the actual phone part and i slip it on when im driving and its in my phone holder, and when im charging the phone elsewhere. the usb-c only charges the phone but not the phone when its in its dual screen case. there's a little magnetic adapter that you put on the tip of the usb-c cable to charge the phone when its in it's dual screen case. the magnet is not that strong so it constantly falls off with slight movements or bumps. that thing is pretty useless and annoying. otherwise, i love the phone although it seems a little sluggish to charge but maybe its because i have soooo much stuff on my phone. the camera is great.
