It has two slots for the RAM and one of the slots (8GB) is onboard memory (i.e soldered to the motherboard) and cannot be changed. The other slot has 8GB and you can exchanged for another 16GB for total of 24GB...^IFV

• You can buy a 32 GB RAM, replace the current RAM, and have a total of 40 GB RAM. Make sure you buy a Samsung 32 GB RAM card. Works flawlessly and easy installation.
