- Answer What type of inspection are you referring to? Please note a firm, solid floor is even more critical to a front-loading washer than to a top-loader. If your floor is wooden and /or frame construction, you may need to reinforce it. Front-loaders have substantially faster spin speed than top-loaders, causing greater vibration. If the floor is not solid, your washer will vibrate. Please clarify your question so that I can provide a useful and accurate response. Thank you. ^Daphane

- Answer Yes I although I'm not sure on the exact size you need to measure your washer and dryer but they do have a smaller one then the one I received which was 27 inches.

QuestionHow tall is the unit total height with the washer and the pedistool? As on mine now with feet and the small space between it raises it another 1 inch!! Does anyone have this unit at their homes! So they can measure? Sorry for any inconvenience!!

- Answer You cannot install an LG pedestal under a stacked washer and dryer. As you noted, that would be too much weight on the pedestal, but it will also put the controls for the dryer at an impossible height to reach and at that height with that much weight, that would be a potentially hazardous situation...^IFV

- Answer The LG 29" Laundry Pedestal with Storage Drawer, Model # WDP5V or any other LG Laundry Pedestal are not designed to decrease vibrations or noise, but they can exacerbate the issue if they are not installed properly or if you raise the leveling legs on them unnecessarily. The leveling legs on the washer that you install the pedestal under and those on the pedestal have to be lowered to prevent excessive noise and vibrations. Leveling feet that can move or slide on the floor can contribute to excess vibration and noise due to poor contact with the floor. Your washer should also be installed on a solid floor that is strong and rigid enough to support the weight of the washer, even when fully loaded, without flexing or bouncing. If the floor has too much flex, you may need to reinforce it to make it more rigid. If the floor is not solid, it may cause severe vibration and noise...^IFV
