Does this microwave need 3” on both sides for ventilation! We are putting in cabinet area that is 24 W x 16 H x 22 3/4 D. Will this fit and be ok for venting? We are finding many day 3” on each side is needed for venting???? null

As a Project Manager with building design experience...I would highly recommend having space around it. The air gap will allow the microwave to breathe giving it the ability to work properly. Little to no air gap will shorten the life span of the microwave.

You should only need space for venting in the back and the left side.
