Is your ventilation around the oven sufficient, i.e. about 4 inches on all sides?

Or are you using the buttons with the door open because that's where all the main settings are like power settings or preheat things etc I mean the only use and press and hold the plus button on the outside of the door until it's at the time I want and then just hit start on the outside I didn't notice I had an issue with the clock resetting when the power went out I just had to unplug it from the outlet and that resets the machine so you might want to give that a shot too unplug it for about 15 seconds plug it back in reset the clock and then give it a shot again
