“Does anyone experience wobbling with the unit? If you look at the photos there appears to be a plastic cap that hides a cord and causes the unit to sit slightly higher on the left side. In the last photo you can see that there is a height difference.”

From photo it sort of looks like the little black rubber foot/pad may have come off on the left side. You may want to check that? If you can't find it you may be able to find something similar to add to that side to make it even and to also keep it from sliding on or scratching the shelf.
