“Can anyone tell me how many inches of shelf minimum the model LMC1575 needs? So what I need is the measurement from the back of unit to the front feet. I do see the overall depth is listed at 17". Thanks.”

From the back bulge of the microwave to the front edge surface of the microwave door, the depth reported in the question is correct at 17 inches by my measurement. However, from the back bulge on the microwave to the forward edge of the front feet is 16 inches by my measurement. That would mean that a 16 inch shelf would provide support for the microwave, but the door of the microwave would project farther forward than the front edge of the shelf (like 1 inch-worth).
