• I’m not sure what you mean “mounted”. This microwave is made to sit on a counter or a safe shelf that is wide enough. But not mounted like an over the stove mounted type microwave’s. I hope this helps.

• Place the microwave oven on a flat surface. Free airflow around the oven is important. Allow at least 4 inches of clearance around the top, sides, and back of the oven for proper ventilation. ^Daphane
