it means if it dies like mine did after 3 weeks, you have to go thru the manufacturer, BB only allows you to bring broken products back to the store before 14 days -- a ridiculously short time. The only reason I ordered from Best Buy is that I live in a very small town - If I buy another microwave online, I'll get it from Amazon, at least they have a 30 return policy. The Best Buy appliance service line has the worst people I've ever encountered, they keep putting you on hold and give you incorrect information.
