“Is a light suppose to go on when the microwave is heating food? I have to put my face up to the door to see the food cooking and even then it’s as if looking at a shadow. Is there a light on when running???”

• Yes, there is a light. It's not very bright, but it is on.

• Yes, there is a cooking light. The light inside the microwave oven turns on automatically when the oven is cooking so you can monitor the cooking process. ^Daphane
