• If you have enough space in between the microwave and the cabinet about 2 inches around. The back has to have more space about 4 inch or more since that is where all the hot air goes.

• It would be possible to use the microwave inside the cabinet with a trim kit as long as the cabinet allow adequate ventilation at the rear and sides. ^ Jamal

• Yes you can use it with a trim kit. We have ours installed with trim kit in one of our kitchen islands. The contractor left enough room behind the microwave as well as in the sides fir ventilation.
