• It is the latest technology. It refers to the design of the magnetron that produces the microwaves. Inverter technology spreads the microwaves throughout the interior of the oven more evenly then regular magnetrons. There are a few other manufacturers that have this design as well. I must say I really like my new LG neochef. It Heats extremely evenly and very fast and well.

• It just means in its most simplistic answer, it allows for cooking at different power levels such as defrost, reheat, keep warm, etc rather than having pseudo or fixed power levels it allows for varying power levels... Just a fancy word for variable fluctuating adjustable power settings.
